O site LoveBScott.com afirma "conseguir confirmar oficialmente" que "Passenger" foi escrita por Britney Spears e Sia. Segundo o que circula, a canção pode ser a "tal" que Dr. Luke produziu e que é "mais sobre os seus filhos".

Dr. Luke confirmou que a sua produção para o álbum “Britney Jean” é na faixa Brightest Morning Star (com composição de Sia e Britney).
